Anemone / Windflower

Theo tự điển Oxford English Dictionary thì anemōnē là từ tiếng Hy Lạp, có nghĩa là "con gái của gió" (daughter of the wind), được ghép từ chữ "ánemos" (wind) và "ōnē" (tiếp vị ngữ, chữ bây giờ là "hậu tố", để chỉ giống cái) =====> "windflower".
